Select Genetix offers Recip Herd options to help you more efficiently reach your reproductive goals. Our Conception to Calving Buyback Program offers you the option to put your embryos in our recipient females, who are then calved out at the end of their gestation period. The embryo owner can then choose between a 4 month or 6 month weaning for calves.

Cost Breakdown:

• One flat rate to sync each recipient cow. (CIDR'S, Lutalyse, GNRH, ETC.)

• One flat rate to implant each embryo.

• One flat rate for ultra-sounds/pregnancy checking.

• Buyback price for each live calf.

Owners can choose the number of recipients they would like to have set up. We kindly suggest setting up more recipients than you have eggs as not every recipient will show a quality heat. We do not implant eggs in recips that do not show a quality heat to give you the greatest chances of receiving a live calf. 

​

All recipient cows are 3-7 years old and are always up to date on vaccinations and de-worming. Our recipient females are all maintained in ideal conditions to promote reproductive success. 

All females considered eligible for the recipient herd have had at least one successful, unassisted calf, and must be in excellent health.  Our recip females are primarily Sim/Angus based.

We offer fresh and frozen conventional or IVF transfers.
